I may have given my boyfriend oral thrush yesterday, how should we approach treatment?
I am not sure if he might be developing it but yesterday he went down on me and it only lasted a minute or so until he pulled back and seemed to be hesitant on continuing. I was clueless as to why he did that until a few hours later when i noticed i had white clumpy discharge (yeast infection) which is continuing today.
So what’s the best way to get rid of any possible infection in his mouth? >_>
And yes οf course I’m taking care οf mу οwn infection аѕ well.
I don’t know if you can get thrush from oral sex, but lay off of it until your infection clears and have him take probiotics/friendly bacteria.
While I doubt you have passed it to him, in the case you did you should tell him to eat some yogurt with live active cultures in it. The smallest amount of sugar the better! If he could stand to have a few spoonfuls of plain yogurt it would be the best. Sugar is a building block for yeast, as is a warm moist place. Yogurt will help you too! If you eat yogurt everyday you will have fewer yeast infections. In your man’s case, look out for white spots on the roof of his mouth snd tongue, that’s a sure sign of oral yeast infection.
